About Us

Built for investors who can't watch the market all day

Woolmersdon started as a way to give remote and time-constrained investors the same level of portfolio oversight that full-time desks rely on, without requiring them to be at a screen every hour.

From a scheduling problem to a portfolio discipline

Woolmersdon grew out of a simple frustration shared by investors who travel, work irregular hours, or live outside their home market's trading window: decisions kept getting made too late, or not at all.

Rather than asking people to check in more often, we built a structured process that reviews positions on a fixed schedule and surfaces what actually needs attention — so action doesn't depend on who happened to be watching that day.

That same principle still shapes how we operate: consistent review cycles, clear thresholds for action, and reporting that fits into a few minutes rather than demanding constant attention.

Keep portfolios on schedule, not on standby

Our mission is straightforward: give investors a dependable review process that runs whether or not they're in front of a screen, and make the output easy to act on quickly.

Consistency

Every portfolio follows the same review cadence and the same evaluation criteria, so results don't vary with who's available on a given day.

Clarity

Reports are built to be read in minutes, not studied for hours. Flags and recommendations are presented plainly, with the reasoning behind them.

Restraint

We favour fewer, better-justified actions over constant activity. Not every cycle calls for a change, and we say so when that's the case.

What guides day-to-day decisions

Value What it means in practice
Accountability Every recommendation is logged against the review cycle that produced it, so it can be traced and explained.
Accessibility Reports and tools are designed to work for investors in different time zones and on different schedules.
Transparency We describe the reasoning behind a flag or recommendation rather than presenting conclusions without context.
Proportion Actions are sized to the situation — we aim to avoid overreacting to short-term noise.

A small set of focused roles, working on a shared schedule

Rather than a single point of contact, Woolmersdon is organised around the stages of the review cycle itself, so coverage doesn't depend on any one person's availability.
